I love design, but more importantly I love people.

I graduated from Seattle Pacific University, with my degree in Visual Communication Design in 2014. I found how much I appreciate the design process, and the act of connecting things together in beautiful ways. I discovered that connections, and understanding how and why certain components work together are important to me. The value of each piece plays a role in the success of communicating a message.

While at SPU, I spent my summers working at kids' camps, and found a great source of community with my staff. In the same ways that the pieces of a design work together I believe that this applies to individuals within communities as well. This belief spurred me to continue studying in Chicago. In 2016, I graduated with my Masters in Relational Communication from DePaul University.

I just finished an internship at Twin Rocks Friends Camp on the Oregon coast. If you have any projects in need of a designer, I am taking on freelance design work. Please contact me if you are interested in working with me!

Hello, my name is Emily!
